This series of artistic works was created as part of the research project titled „SPACE – SCALE – REPLICATION”, which involved a series of experiments focused on transcribing three-dimensional spaces into graphic images. The starting material was a set of renderings of spirals (presented below), which were subjected to specific transformations.
The factors guiding the research included immersion in virtual space, sensitivity, experimentation, emotions evoked by the transformations of the processed matter, exploration of various transformation paths, and the search for graphic codes and means of expression. These graphic explorations addressed concepts related to graphic art and spatial activities, such as space, the comfort of perceiving space, form, character, style, texture, and more. An additional element was the study of the possibilities offered by electronic media in creating virtual spaces and graphic transpositions.
